With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought I should get in the spirit and share something a little different. Everyone has their favorite go-to recipes for Thanksgiving so I thought why not see what recipes are out there that maybe I hadn't thought of. So I did a search for the best Thanksgiving recipes and came across Southern Living's 50 Best Thanksgiving Recipes of All Time. (http://www.southernliving.com/best-thanksgiving-recipes). Though some of the recipes posted don't look like my traditional down home southern style cooking, I did see several that looked like they might be worth a try. Like this broccoli and rice casserole.
I also came across some ice box dinner rolls and a few different ways to season a turkey that looked pretty good. If you're looking to improve on one of the classics or searching to try something new, this article has some great suggestions.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season and is able to spend time with their family and friends. While good food is definitely something to be thankful for, time with your loved ones is what is most important. Have a safe and happy holiday!
